One-Pass Technology
Standard equipment, exceptional results
LL-TECH integrates directly into standard road construction methods. Using a cold recycler and stabilizer, product integration at the required depth is performed in a single pass, ensuring homogeneous mixing, high execution precision, and increased efficiency.
Once the recycler pass is complete, the grader and compactor can intervene immediately. Sealing layers finalize the structure. Productivity: two to four kilometres per day once the contractor is fully familiar with the process.
Step-by-Step Process
Five steps to a durable road
Mill & Mix
The cold recycler mills the prescribed thickness of in-place material — asphalt, soil, or aggregate — while injecting the LL-TECH solution from a tanker truck in a controlled, continuous manner. Objective: homogeneous mixture at optimum moisture content (OMC).
Initial Compaction
A roller compactor provides initial compaction to stabilize the treated material and limit displacement during grading. Critical step for final structural performance.
Grading
A grader grades the treated material to achieve the profile and slopes required by project specifications — ensuring geometric compliance before final compaction.
Final Compaction
Final compaction to 95% using a roller compactor. When properly executed, the surface can be opened to traffic within 24–48 hours.
Sealing Layer
The sealing layer is applied with a tanker equipped with a rear spray system. May include pigmentation. Can begin immediately after compaction depending on aggregate gradation.
Equipment Used
Standard machinery — no special imports
Cold Recycler / Reclaimer
Performs milling, mixing, and product injection in one pass. Standard rental equipment used globally.
Motor Grader
Profiles the surface to specified slopes and grades. Standard construction equipment.
Roller Compactor
Achieves 95% compaction for structural integrity. Standard vibratory roller.
Water / Product Tanker
Supplies LL-TECH solution diluted in water to the recycler. Enables controlled, continuous injection.
Performance Rates
Up to 4 km per day
